Bluff Point on the Severn
Discover Bluff Point’s Forked Creek marina, varied waterfront and interior lots, industrial history and separate community boating documents.
Bluff Point on the Severn has a waterfront setting with a marina on Forked Creek. Its association describes a mix of riverfront, lakefront, water-view and interior home sites. That variety makes the individual lot important: two homes carrying the same neighborhood name may have very different relationships to the water. Explore the association’s overview.
A history before the homes
The community’s own history traces the site to Riverside Brick Works in the nineteenth century, followed by sand extraction for glassmaking into the 1920s. This industrial past gives the area a more specific story than a general waterfront description. The historical account should not be read as a public attraction listing or an invitation onto private land.
Marina access needs its own review
The association maintains separate dock and marina information, including rules, a relocation and waiting-list reference, and an affidavit. Before relying on a boat space, ask how assignment, eligibility and any transfer work for the exact property. A waterfront lot, association membership and a reserved slip are not interchangeable. Compare the property and community documents
The association also links its covenants and incorporation documents. Use the current documents supplied for the home alongside your site visit. Carrollton Manor is an adjoining community, not another name for Bluff Point; do not assume its beach rules apply here. Community documents and neighboring Carrollton Manor history.
