District
Odenton Town Center
Odenton Town Center combines a formal county planning district with everyday public resources. Its master plan and Annapolis Road library offer different ways to follow development and take part in local life.
Understand the town-center plan
Odenton Town Center is one of Anne Arundel’s designated town centers, with a master plan addressing development, transportation, natural resources and public investment. The current plan and related code took effect on March 29, 2024. Its maps and project information are useful when trying to understand a proposal near home or work; they describe a planning district within the wider Odenton community.
Start a project at the library
Odenton Library, at 1325 Annapolis Road, offers a different kind of practical starting point. Its Memory Lab helps people preserve photographs and other media, while the Creation Station provides a makerspace setting. Public computers, printing and meeting-room information are also available through the branch. Choose the relevant service and its booking instructions before bringing materials or arranging a group visit.
Follow decisions and local programs
The town-center planning page links to advisory meetings and development resources. The library calendar lists learning sessions and activities for different ages. Together, those two calendars give residents routes into both the area’s long-term decisions and its day-to-day community life, without requiring a development project to participate.
