Marley

Marley sits within Glen Burnie’s wider network of commercial corridors and creek landscapes. Its county park proposal is still in master planning, while established community facilities have their own current addresses.

Read Marley through its local corridor

The county’s commercial revitalization map identifies a Glen Burnie/Marley area along the Ritchie Highway and Mountain Road corridor. That gives useful context for understanding the concentration of shops and services. A planning designation describes an area of county work; it does not turn every nearby address into the same neighborhood or replace Marley’s local identity.

Follow the Marley Creek park proposal

The Marley Creek capital-project page describes a proposed regional park on 72 acres of county property. Its September 17, 2026 update keeps the project in master planning, following a summer draft and a July 28 public meeting. Trails and other ideas in the plan should be read as proposals, not as facilities available for an outing today.

Use established addresses for local services

One existing community landmark is Marley Fire Company, listed by the county at 7726 Baltimore & Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie. Keep that specific location, the commercial corridor and the future park site distinct when navigating. Residents interested in the park can use the project page to review the draft and track the next public update.
