Glen Burnie Town Center
Glen Burnie Town Center brings together the Crain Highway and Baltimore–Annapolis Boulevard core, public art and ongoing revitalization work. Planning resources help distinguish existing features from proposed changes.
Orient yourself around the historic core
The Glen Burnie Town Center Revitalization Plan studies blocks south of Baltimore–Annapolis Boulevard, divided by Crain Highway. Its study area extends toward Oak Lane, Greenway Street and the county parking garage. That compact planning focus helps distinguish the town-center core from the much wider Glen Burnie community.
Look for public art and dated activities
AAEDC’s current project account identifies Rotary Park’s Pathways to Connection mural, installed in fall 2025 at Crain Highway and Baltimore–Annapolis Boulevard. It also distinguishes the temporary 2025 Better Plaza event from a longer-term project for permanent plaza improvements. The farmers market is seasonal; use the organizer’s current dates before planning a market visit.
Follow the next stage of investment
For a business or property project, the county’s development resources include a Glen Burnie concept-plan application, checklist and the revitalization plan. These provide a concrete starting point for discussing a proposal with county staff. Residents can use the plan and AAEDC’s progress information to follow changes, while keeping completed art and wayfinding separate from the next stage of construction or redevelopment.
