Kingstown

Kingstown sits across the Chester River from Chestertown, with local commerce that serves nearby households, gardens and farms.

Kingstown is on the Queen Anne’s County side of the Chester River, opposite Chestertown. The county’s 2011 planning document places the Kingstown–Chester Harbor area along MD 213. That river crossing is a useful geographic reference when navigating between the two counties.

Everyday commerce on Church Hill Road

The Mill of Kingstown at 7121 Church Hill Road carries supplies for gardens, pets, homes and farms. Its address uses Chestertown for mail, while the store’s name keeps Kingstown visible. The operator describes joining The Mill’s network in 2019 after its earlier identity as Kingstown Farm, Home and Garden.

The product mix connects ordinary household errands with the agricultural landscape around the community. A stop might involve garden seed, pet supplies or livestock feed; check the store directly for a particular product instead of assuming every listed category is fully stocked.

Resources for a home landscape

The operator also lists garden consultation services for the Eastern Shore. Residents can use that service page to understand the offering and arrange a consultation. Together, the river crossing and named local businesses give newcomers a practical orientation without treating a Chestertown postal address as proof that a property is inside Chestertown’s municipal limits.
