Love Point

At Kent Island’s northern end, Love Point combines Chester River views, a vineyard destination and links to the island’s former rail route.

Love Point sits at the northern end of Kent Island, where the Chester River is part of the setting. The area’s winery member profile locates its vineyard here and describes the river-facing landscape. For a visit, use a named destination and its entrance rather than treating the shoreline as a continuous public attraction.

A vineyard on the river

Love Point Vineyards and Winery lists its address as 305 River Shore Lane, Stevensville. Its tasting room, deck, patio and lawn offer several settings for a stop. The operator lists first-come seating and prohibits outside food and beverages. Check the winery’s current hours and event arrangements before leaving, especially if a performance is the reason for the trip.

An island transport connection

The Historic Stevensville district’s railway account records the move of the rail terminus to Love Point in 1902. Stevensville became the first station from that terminus. A later visit to the preserved Stevensville station gives that story a physical reference point; the historical rail connection is not a present passenger service.

Love Point works as a particular northern-island outing: a river-view destination, followed by history elsewhere on Kent Island if time permits. Allow for the actual drive between stops and confirm each property’s visitor arrangements. A Stevensville postal address alone does not place a venue in the historic district.
