Amesbury Hill

Amesbury Hill is a small Town Center residential area off Ten Mills Road near Route108. Its community history, nearby golf resources and Centennial Park entrances help orient a first visit.

Find Amesbury Drive

Amesbury Hill is a small residential part of Columbia’s Town Center village, centered on Amesbury Drive off Ten Mills Road near Route 108. The village history traces its development to land reserved in 1973 and records the first new house construction in 1976. That history explains why Amesbury Hill feels different on a map from Town Center’s larger commercial districts: this is a compact residential destination reached by its own street.

Golf on Columbia Road

For an activity nearby, Fairway Hills Golf Club is at 5100 Columbia Road and has a pro shop and driving range. CA identifies Fairway Hills as open for public daily play. Tee times can be arranged through the club’s online booking link or pro shop. Use that entrance for a golf visit; the homes on Amesbury Drive are private residences, not a historic-house attraction or a route onto the course.

Choose a park entrance for the activity

Centennial Park offers another regional outing, with separate north, south, east and west areas. The south area provides lake access and a paved pathway; the north area has an inclusive playground and sensory trail. Pick the park section before setting directions, particularly when meeting someone or bringing equipment. These larger destinations complement an Amesbury Hill visit without turning the neighborhood itself into a tourist district.
