Dorsey Hall

Dorsey Hall was the first neighborhood occupied in Columbia’s Dorsey’s Search village, with residents arriving in 1980. The village history connects its name to the Dorsey Hall manor house. The neighborhood and the larger village are distinct names: Fairway Hills is the village’s other neighborhood.

Columbia Road and Linden Hall

Dorsey Hall Pool is at 4649 Columbia Road, with an Ellicott City mailing address. Columbia Association lists an eight-lane main pool, a beach-entry wading pool, a hot tub and sand volleyball, plus nearby play and basketball facilities. Consult the operator’s current pool status, seasonal schedule and admissions guidance before visiting.

Linden Hall at 4765 Dorsey Hall Drive houses the village office, which offers community information and referrals. The association’s parks and facilities page also points toward Centennial Park as a separate regional outing. Choose the park entrance for your intended activity rather than treating the village address as a park access point. Pool memberships are handled by Columbia Association, while village questions go to Dorsey’s Search staff.
