Those details make it a useful stop for a school project or a family looking for an activity beyond borrowing a book. Consult the current calendar and ask about equipment procedures; a program or room appearing on a branch page does not establish that it is available whenever you arrive.

Playground and trail

The county park directory places Annie’s Playground at 864 Smith Lane. Harford County’s June 2023 account of its renovation describes a treehouse, an elephant slide, swings, animal sculptures and sensory panels. The playground honors Annie Cumpston, and the county records the family’s involvement in the work. Its mix of play features gives families several ways to spend a visit without adding another destination.

The county’s 2026 walking-program listing also identifies this address as a meeting point for the Bel Air/Fallston Ma & Pa Trail. That confirms a practical place to investigate a trail walk; it does not make a dated organized program a drop-in activity or certify an entire route’s condition.
