Community
Severn
Severn Center and Severn-Danza Park offer distinct places for community activities and recreation. Class registration, room reservations and park access help visitors choose the right option.
Find community activities on Reece Road
Severn Center brings a senior activity center, a Boys & Girls Club and a community room together in one facility. The senior center lists 1160A Reece Road as its address and offers classes and activities for older adults. Start with its program information to choose a session and complete any required registration.
Arrange a community gathering
The Gathering Place Community Room has its own reservation process. Organizations begin by asking the center director about availability, then complete the room application and agreement. That makes the center useful for more than attending an existing class: it also provides a concrete route for arranging a noncommercial community gathering, subject to the center’s requirements.
Choose an outdoor activity
Severn-Danza Park, at 726 Donaldson Avenue, lists a playground, dog park, pavilion and BMX track among its facilities. Choose the entrance and activity before setting out: pavilion seating is available without reservations, while organized sports and the BMX track have their own arrangements. The county’s park page also provides the process for accessing pickleball nets. Check its current notices for seasonal field availability.
