Rose Haven

Rose Haven pairs a public waterfront park on Walnut Avenue with nearby marina and lodging facilities. A North Beach mailing address does not change its Anne Arundel location or make resort beaches public.

Rose Haven at the county line

Rose Haven lies at the southern end of Anne Arundel’s Chesapeake shoreline. The county’s Chesapeake Crossroads overview identifies it as the heritage area’s reach at the Calvert County line. That geography matters when searching nearby destinations: a North Beach mailing address can appear on a business serving the Rose Haven waterfront.

Start with the public park

Rose Haven Memorial Park is at 626 Walnut Avenue. The county lists a cartop boat launch, fishing, a picnic area and trails, with sunrise-to-sunset hours. It offers a straightforward public destination for a short waterfront stop. The cartop-launch listing should not be read as a promise of a ramp for trailered motorboats.

Reserve marina and lodging access separately

Nearby Herrington Harbour South lists its address as 7149 Lake Shore Drive, North Beach. The operator offers boat slips, overnight dockage, lodging and dining, and describes its beaches as private. Full resort-amenity access is associated with annual slipholders and overnight guests. Make the appropriate reservation for the activity you want; a park outing or restaurant visit does not by itself establish access to every marina amenity.
