Use the school’s current family resources
Quarterfield Elementary School lists 7967 Quarterfield Road in Severn as its address. Its website brings together school updates, family resources and community-school information. For a household navigating a new school year, these are more useful starting points than an old directory entry. The school name alone does not establish a particular home’s attendance assignment.
Check child care as a separate program
The county’s 2026–27 school-age child-care page includes Quarterfield among its program locations. Families should use that program’s enrollment and waitlist process to ask about care; school enrollment does not itself reserve a child-care place. Match the requested schedule and location to the current county listing before making work or transportation arrangements around it.
Plan a separate park outing
For recreation in the surrounding area, Sawmill Creek Park is at 7405 Charley Eckman Lane in Glen Burnie. Trails, courts, a playground and picnic areas give it several uses, but each facility has its own availability. At the November 2, 2026 check, the county still listed the skatepark closed for enhancements and projected a December 11 reopening, weather permitting. Confirm the facility notice before a skating trip; a projected completion date is not an opening announcement.
