Oyster Harbor
Oyster Harbor sits between Oyster Creek and Fishing Creek, with community boating facilities and a resident beach. Its association separates private recreation, public pumpout access and small-craft storage rules.
Two creeks shape the neighborhood
Oyster Harbor’s community overview places its waterfront on Oyster Creek and Fishing Creek, near the Chesapeake Bay. The association maintains the community’s roads and describes resident marinas, a boat ramp and a fishing pier. One service has a different access arrangement: the Oyster Creek holding-tank pumpout is identified as free and available to the public.
Beach visits require a resident connection
The beach and fishing-pier rules state that these are private facilities for residents and their accompanied guests. A beach reservation does not exclude other residents from using the beach. That is useful when planning a gathering: the host is reserving particular arrangements, rather than turning the entire waterfront into a private event space.
Get the right key and boat sticker
The association’s community rules explain the household-key process for the beach and ramp gates and require community stickers for small craft stored in designated areas. They also restrict parking on the narrow streets and long-term storage in community lots. Residents planning a kayak outing should settle storage and access first; guests should ask their host where to park instead of assuming the nearest curb is available.
