Gambrills
Gambrills includes shopping destinations, local recreation and historic grounds, with distinct operators and entrances worth checking before a visit.
Gambrills offers several different kinds of outings: shopping and dining around Waugh Chapel, outdoor recreation at Bell Branch Park and a visit to Historic Linthicum Walks. Treat them as separate destinations. The community name covers a useful area of exploration, but each stop has its own entrance, schedule and activity information.
Around Waugh Chapel
Waugh Chapel Towne Centre lists its visitor address as 1417 South Main Chapel Way and maintains a directory of shops, services and dining. The Village at Waugh Chapel has its own store directory. Use the correct center’s listing to locate a business, then confirm the business’s current hours. A promotion or center-wide event listing does not establish every tenant’s schedule.
Parks and local history
Bell Branch Park at 1150 Barbara Swann Way includes sports fields, a dog park, trails and picnic facilities. On the October 2, 2026 check, the county was seeking comments on proposed expansion concepts; those drawings describe possible future work. Historic Linthicum Walks, at 2295 Davidsonville Road, offers a different pace, with grounds and gardens to explore and house tours arranged by appointment.
Plan a few specific stops
A useful first outing could pair one shopping destination with either the park or historic grounds. Leave room for the activities you actually want to do, and review access or booking details with each operator. Using the individual destination pages also makes it easier to follow future changes without relying on an old regional directory.
