Area

Broadneck

Broadneck offers a peninsula-area starting point for parks, library programs and county planning, with useful destinations along College Parkway and Green Holly Drive.

Broadneck is a community name within Anne Arundel County’s Region 4 planning area, which also includes Arnold, Cape St. Claire, Severna Park and Pasadena. It is useful to keep the broader peninsula-area identity and your particular destination in view at the same time. A neighborhood name, a mailing address and a planning boundary can answer different questions.

An outdoor anchor on College Parkway

Broadneck Park at 613 College Parkway offers a straightforward starting point for a local outing. The county lists a playground, picnic area, trails, sports fields and a dog park. Choose the facilities that fit your visit and check any activity-specific rules or reservation requirements. The park’s address is more useful for arrival planning than a general search for the peninsula.

An everyday community resource

Broadneck Library is at 1275 Green Holly Drive. Its branch page brings together program listings, a meeting-room link and technology services including computers and printing. It can be a practical stop for residents settling into the area or people looking for a local class or family activity. Use the current event listing for age guidance and registration; an older program calendar does not establish today’s availability.

For residents and prospective residents

The county’s Region 4 community hub provides the wider view of transportation, land use and public facilities. Start there for planning context, then follow the record for the particular address or project that interests you. Pair that desk research with a visit to the routes and destinations you expect to use. Neither a park listing nor a familiar community name establishes a school assignment or a fixed commute.
