For a first look at the Scaggsville area, two public destinations offer different ways to spend time locally. Hammond Park at 10700 Glen Hannah Drive has trails, a playground and a picnic pavilion. Its Laurel mailing address is useful for navigation; use the street address rather than expecting every nearby facility to carry the Scaggsville name.
