Neighborhood
Hopewell
Hopewell is an Owen Brown neighborhood with a seasonal mini waterpark on Rustling Leaf and several residential associations.
Hopewell is one of the three neighborhoods in Columbia’s Owen Brown village. The association’s history traces the name to the Laswell’s Hopewell land grant and identifies Vachel Lindsay’s work as the source of its street names.
Local recreation and property resources
Hopewell Mini Waterpark is at 9200 Rustling Leaf. Columbia Association lists an eight-lane main pool, a large slide, a wading pool and a splash pad, with a field, play area and courts nearby. The pool operates on a seasonal schedule; use the operator’s current-status and admission links before planning a visit.
The village’s residential-association directory includes Lakewinds, Riderwood and Snowden Ridge under Hopewell, with street references that help residents identify the appropriate management organization. The village association and an individual townhouse or condominium association can serve different needs. For broader community activities, Owen Brown’s amenities guide points to the community center at 6800 Cradlerock Way, as well as shared library and recreation resources. Start with the village office for community programming and the property’s own association for building or common-area questions.
