Huntington

Huntington is one of Kings Contrivance’s three Columbia neighborhoods. The village history traces its name to the Huntington Quarter land grant and many of its street names to poet Carl Sandburg.

Murray Hill Road and local resources

Huntington Pool stands at 7625 Murray Hill Road near Huntington Park. Columbia Association lists an eight-lane main pool, a wading pool with a small slide, a hot tub and shaded seating areas. Its seasonal schedule and admission links are the practical checks to make before going.

The village’s community directory identifies several Huntington townhouse associations. Wood Valley includes Early April Way, Skyrock Court and Moving Water Lane; Clocktower Crossing and Fallswood are listed on Clocktower Lane. These names help connect a street address with the relevant residential organization.

For village-wide matters, the Kings Contrivance association provides calendar, rental and covenant information through Amherst House on Eden Brook Drive. A townhouse association may have its own responsibilities, so use the directory alongside village information when asking about a particular property or common area.
