Annapolis Junction
Annapolis Junction links the Savage MARC station with a town-center development and nearby employment campuses along the Howard–Anne Arundel county line.
Annapolis Junction is a useful place to understand how rail travel and employment shape the Baltimore–Washington corridor. The Annapolis Junction Town Center development is on the Howard County side, beside Savage MARC station. Its planning combines housing, offices and other uses around a commuter-rail connection. The developer's proposed buildout should be read separately from the businesses and buildings operating today.
Use the station's name and address
MTA lists Savage station at 9009 Dorsey Run Road, Annapolis Junction. The station name, postal community and nearby development name are different labels for related destinations. Use the full address when arranging a pickup or a first visit.
The Camden Line connects this station with Baltimore and Washington. Check the current timetable for the exact trip and return, especially after schedule changes. A station nearby does not by itself establish a door-to-door commute time. Businesses around the county line also need their own street addresses checked; an Annapolis Junction mailing address alone does not establish the county.
