Neighborhood

Woodmere

Woodmere’s rowhouse blocks sit within northwest Baltimore’s Metro and neighborhood-association network.

Woodmere is a Baltimore City neighborhood whose adjoining communities include Arlington, Glen, Reisterstown Station, Langston Hughes, Lucille Park, West Arlington and Grove Park. Live Baltimore identifies rowhouses as its characteristic housing type. The number of neighboring communities helps explain why a shop, school or transit reference in a listing may be close by while carrying a different neighborhood name.

Rogers Avenue is an important nearby rail reference. MTA publishes a Rogers Avenue station-area concept as part of its transit-oriented development resources. It is a planning document for discussing possible development around the station, not a current inventory of finished housing or retail. Use the operating station and your actual route to it when comparing locations.

For neighborhood participation, the Northwest Baltimore Partnership lists the Woodmere Association among its community organizations. Its directory is useful for finding an organization’s name, while current organizers can confirm meetings and activities. For reading, printing or other library errands, the Reisterstown Road Branch still listed a renovation closure when checked on October 2, 2026; verify reopening before traveling there.
