Neighborhood

Stonewood-Pentwood-Winston

Stonewood-Pentwood-Winston’s three street names identify a brick-rowhouse neighborhood near Morgan State and the Chinquapin Run landscape.

Stonewood-Pentwood-Winston is named for three of its streets, a small-scale way of identifying a particular north Baltimore community. Live Baltimore describes predominantly two-story brick rowhomes. The combined name is useful when searching for the neighborhood itself, rather than a much broader Morgan State or Northwood location.

Residential blocks beside larger landscapes

The City neighborhood boundary meets Hillen, New Northwood, Perring Loch and the Morgan State University area. Park mapping identifies Pentwood Park and part of Chinquapin Run Park within its footprint. The park parcels and adjoining campus give the neighborhood reference points beyond its three namesake streets, while remaining separate places with their own uses.
