Neighborhood

Rosemont

Rosemont combines rowhouses and other housing with local parkland, neighborhood housing work and the Walbrook library network.

Rosemont is a west Baltimore City neighborhood next to Fairmont, Walbrook, Northwest Community Action, Winchester and Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. Live Baltimore identifies rowhouses, detached houses and apartments. Its official boundary is distinct from Rosemont Homeowners/Tenants and from the broader Greater Rosemont community label.

The City maps Alexander Odum Park within Rosemont, one of the neighborhood’s named green-space references. For indoor resources, Pratt’s Walbrook Branch expressly serves Rosemont and provides computers, printing and community programs. The library is a shared destination on West North Avenue, rather than a facility to assume lies inside Rosemont itself.

Coppin Heights CDC also identifies Greater Coppin Heights/Rosemont as its affordable-housing and community-organizing area. That gives residents an organization to approach about local development, while leaving each property’s current status to be checked individually.
