Reisterstown Station

Reisterstown Station combines northwest Baltimore housing with the Reisterstown Plaza Metro station and surrounding development plans.

Reisterstown Station is a Baltimore City neighborhood adjoining Fallstaff, Glen, Woodmere and Seton Business Park. Its neighborhood profile lists rowhouses, detached homes and apartments. The name should not be confused with Reisterstown in Baltimore County: this community is part of the city’s northwest transit and shopping corridor.

The major rail reference is Reisterstown Plaza on MTA’s Metro SubwayLink, the line between Owings Mills and Johns Hopkins. MTA’s transit-oriented development page locates the station-area site at 6300 Wabash Avenue within the Reisterstown Station community. It describes mixed-use development opportunities around the rail infrastructure. Those concepts are planning material, not a promise that particular shops, housing or pedestrian improvements are already complete.

For everyday trip planning, use the actual station entrance and current MTA service information. Library plans need a separate check: the Reisterstown Road Branch at 6310 Reisterstown Road still listed a renovation closure on October 2, 2026. Confirm its reopening before adding a library stop to a shopping or transit trip.
