Neighborhood

Lauraville

Lauraville combines detached homes and mature trees with Harford Road’s business corridor, beside Morgan Park and the Herring Run landscape.

Lauraville’s residential character includes detached houses and substantial tree cover, as described by Live Baltimore. Its setting brings home streets together with nearby parkland and the activity of Harford Road. That combination makes the neighborhood more than a commercial strip, even though the corridor is often a visitor’s first reference point.

A shared Main Street with specific limits

Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street serves the Harford Road corridor from White Avenue to Argonne Drive and maintains a directory of businesses and community resources. The organization connects several neighborhoods. Use each shop or service’s address and current hours when planning a visit, rather than treating the entire corridor as one Lauraville location.

Look beyond the shopping street

The City’s Lauraville boundary meets Morgan Park, Morgan State University, Hamilton Hills and several other northeast communities; mapped parkland includes portions of Herring Run and Mount Pleasant Park. For an indoor resource, the Hamilton branch at 5910 Harford Road explicitly serves Lauraville. Its current calendar provides another route into local activities beyond the business directory.
