Neighborhood
Frankford
Frankford combines several housing forms with neighborhood parks, near the commercial and community resources of northeast Baltimore.
Frankford has a broad housing mix within northeast Baltimore. Live Baltimore describes townhomes, rowhomes, apartments and detached houses. Those different forms make the individual block important: a general neighborhood description cannot capture every building, yard or residential arrangement.
Several park names belong in the picture
The City’s Frankford boundary meets Cedmont, Cedonia, Waltherson, Parkside and several other communities. Its mapped area overlaps Radecke Park and other parkland. Use a specific park location and street address when planning a visit; the wider neighborhood contains more than one green-space name, and a map alone does not establish entrances or current facilities.
Community services beyond one block
HARBEL’s community-services page provides information about food-resource assistance and northeast Baltimore organizations. Ask the organization about current arrangements and eligibility rather than assuming a distribution schedule. For a separate indoor resource, the Herring Run library is at 3801 Erdman Avenue. Its computers, printing and program calendar make it a useful area reference, with current hours and room reservations checked directly.
