Fairmont
Fairmont is a small residential neighborhood on the park edge, with varied houses and a City-listed landmark called The Mount.
Fairmont occupies a small part of west Baltimore between Mount Holly, Walbrook, Rosemont and Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. The City’s official neighborhood name is Fairmont; Live Baltimore’s page uses the spelling Fairmount. Its description includes both smaller detached homes and larger houses with wraparound porches, giving the residential area a different texture from nearby stretches of rowhouses.
