Evesham Park
Evesham Park’s local story centers on a park divided by Northern Parkway and residents who helped revive it. The neighborhood association remains a starting point for cleanup work and community participation.
Find the park at Northern Parkway
The City lists Evesham Avenue Park at Northern Parkway and Clearspring Road. The park crosses neighborhood boundaries, so its name and the Evesham Park residential neighborhood are related but not identical. Use the park location when arranging to meet someone, then agree on which side of Northern Parkway to use.
Understand the residents’ role
The Evesham Park Neighborhood Association describes how construction of Northern Parkway left two park sections linked by a pedestrian bridge. Residents began reviving a neglected garden in 2001, and the association formed in 2002. Cleanup and planting work therefore sit near the center of the neighborhood’s civic story.
Join a practical project
The association’s current notices include second-Saturday cleanups and a 2026 membership campaign. Its site links to the activity calendar and member registration; it states that dues are welcomed but are not required for membership. Check the organizer’s current meeting point before arriving with tools. Helping with an established cleanup is a direct way to learn about the park and meet people involved in its upkeep.
