Neighborhood

Eastwood

Eastwood is a small Baltimore City rowhouse neighborhood beside Graceland Park, with a broader Eastwood community extending beyond the City line.

Eastwood’s attached brick rowhomes sit above raised front lawns, a housing detail highlighted by Live Baltimore. The City neighborhood map places this residential pocket beside Graceland Park and Pulaski Industrial Area. Its modest size gives it a different scale from the larger industrial properties nearby.

A name on both sides of the line

Baltimore County’s 2022 parks inventory lists Eastwood Park as a neighborhood park. That County resource belongs to the wider Eastwood setting; it should not be confused with parkland inside the mapped City neighborhood. For residents comparing local recreation or public services, the City–County distinction is useful even when familiar community names continue across the boundary.

Everyday destinations along Eastern Avenue

Farther along the surrounding Eastern Avenue corridor, Yard56 lists its shopping and dining destination at 5601 Eastern Avenue. Its directory provides a practical starting point for an errand or meal nearby. Eastwood’s own identity remains its compact residential streets, while larger commercial destinations serve several southeast Baltimore neighborhoods around it.
