Bromo Arts District
Bromo Arts District connects downtown creative venues and artists, with a directory for planning visits and transit options along Howard Street and at Lexington Market.
Explore the arts district as a district
Bromo Arts District was established in 2012 to support a downtown arts community. Its identity brings together artists, cultural organizations and public programming across a broader area than the Downtown West neighborhood alone. Think of it as a network of places to visit, with each venue contributing a different kind of experience.
Build a small itinerary
The district directory is a practical starting point for selecting a gallery, theater or creative organization. Choose two or three places with compatible schedules, then use their own calendars or booking links. A studio, performance venue and exhibition space will not necessarily welcome visitors at the same time, even during a shared district event.
Plan the arrival and return
The district’s visitor guide identifies public transport connections, including Light Rail along Howard Street and Metro at Lexington Market. Select the stop for the actual venue and check the service operator’s current schedule. For an evening event, include the return journey when deciding how late to stay.
