Copyright & Takedown

Updated November 2, 2026.

Maryland Authority is operated by Coastal Authority Group, LLC. Rights in site material belong to their respective owners. Original editorial material, commissioned work, contributed content and licensed third-party images can have different reuse terms.

Photographs, credits and licenses

Photographs may be original, public-domain or licensed material. Each asset's rights and any license conditions control. An image without a visible credit is not automatically free to reuse. Contact us for the source and rights information for a particular image.

If a license permits reuse, follow its requirements, which may include attribution, a license link and identification of changes. Check the original asset record before reusing it. Maryland Authority cannot grant rights that belong to someone else. Third-party trademarks and logos remain the property of their owners.

Reusing site material

You may link to our pages. Copying substantial text, republishing a photograph or using our branding may require permission unless an applicable license or the law allows the use. Use the current options on the Contact page for a permissions inquiry and identify the material, intended use and publication channel.

Reporting a rights concern

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, email info@coastalvirginiaauthority.com or use the Contact page. Include the exact page address, identify the material and the original work, explain your ownership or authority to act, and provide a way to reply. Supporting source or license information can help us review the issue. Avoid including unrelated personal information.

We review rights concerns and may seek clarification, correct a credit, restrict access to material or remove it when appropriate. A report is an allegation to be assessed, not a finding that infringement occurred.

Formal notices

This page provides a general rights-reporting route. It does not identify a registered Digital Millennium Copyright Act agent or represent that a general contact message satisfies every requirement for a formal legal notice. The U.S. Copyright Office explains designated agents and formal infringement notices.
